Evangelistic projects DBT is involved in.....Love London : Heal Our Land UK

Love London

The vision for Love London was born out of the work of Love Croydon initiated by Dry Bones Trust evangelist, Steve Mullins.

It was in  the summer of 2007 while steve was ill in hospital following a mission trip to Uganda that the Lord spoke to him about seeing what was being planned for Croydon (see www.lovecroydon.org) happen across all 33 London boroughs.

The basic vision for Love London is:

To see churches in the 33 boroughs united in grass-roots, church-based mission, within their own boroughs. Over the next 3 - 4 years it is hoped that the project  will help to provide ongoing, focused mission activity across the whole of London.

Part of the aim is also to see each borough hold one large scale, borough-wide, evangelistic event within the 3 - 4 year timescale and to see mission agencies and other Christian organisations working together to help resource the churches across London in their evangelistic endeavors.

Premier Christian Media are leading and facilitating the project and as the visionary  organisation behind the project, Dry Bones Trust is pleased to be working with them.

Heal Our Land UK

Heal our land " is an interactive prayer and mobilisation event by Jimmy and Carol Owens adapted for the challenges of today’s British church. The Owen’s musicals "Come Together" and "If My People" played a significant role in past renewal movements. We believe that again, this new production, adapted by major British - based songwriters and artists from many styles and ethnicities, can be instrumental toward creating an atmosphere of repentance, a culture of prayer and a fresh passion for Jesus and the lost."

Dry Bones Trust Evangelist, Steve Mullins is Director of Evangelism for Heal our Land.

We are looking to take 'Heal Our Land' to 4 - 6 town and cities throughout 2010. A week of prayer and fasting will precede the 'Heal our Land' concerts, which are aimed at bringing healing and restoration to the Church. A week of evangelistic outreaches will follow, hosted in each city by local believers, the final event of the week being a cross-cultural Evangelistic festival.
